The guy made little to no sense to him. It really seemed as though he didnt have the will to do, well, anything. In fact, Dimitri probably wouldnt be surprised that if breathing wasnt such a necessity to their survival Hughes wouldve given that up a long time ago. Tearing his eyes from the depressing being, Dimitri focused his attentions on Gabriel as several people began to gather around him, just making out the apology before the blonde focused his attentions on his companions. Oh. So Gabriel knew them? It was probably not surprising that the more sociable male knew other people besides Dimitri but it wasnt often that he saw him associating with them outside of a church event. It felt kind of weird being on the outside, looking in. ”You should help your friend… Those two with him are other sins.” Dimitri quirked an eyebrow, turning to glance towards Hughes who had taken to creepily leaning against the nearby window. That was weird. Why would he tell him something like that? Did Gabriel know...? ...[i]oh[/i]. Okay then. Now everything was making more sense. Tattoo's, long hair, obnoxious clothing, surely that one was Gabriels own sin. It was just as gabriel had predicted. Well that certainly sucks but Dimitri knew better than to interfere. After all, he was [i]Diligence[/i]. It wasnt his job to help Gabriel, it was his job to help others help themselves. And evidently Gabriel knew that he had to do this on his own. Besides, Dimitri had his own sin to worry about at the moment considering how he was staring at the couple making obscene faces at him. “[color=#20859F][b]Two...?[/b][/color]” Dimitri asked questioningly as he stepped towards the sin, eyes sweeping across the cafe to find the person who had left the table to get something to drink. He had only seen his back but the guy had seemed rather familiar. Who could the other sin have been? “[color=#20859F][b]It doesnt matter, Gabriel can take care of himself.[/b][/color]” Shifting some bags around so he could place a hand upon Hughes shoulder he forced a smile upon his face. “[color=#20859F][b]You're the one that needs my help more.[/b][/color]” Stepping away from the raven haired male, Dimitri moved towards the middle of the sidewalk with a sigh. For a male with two functioning legs this guy sure didnt know how to use them. The thought almost made Dimitri feel a bit bitter as he stared at his screwed up knee. Why should someone else who didnt know what a gift their workin body was when he was meant to forever be scarred by this one mistake? “[color=#20859F][b]Lets g-[/b][/color]” Without warning something crashed into Dimitri. Unprepared he went sprawling, bags dropping and can's rolling as he hastily tried to grab a hold of his eyeglasses before they could fly off. Not a second later something hot and damp landed on him, scalding his skin as he gasped out in surprise. “What the hell are you doing, standing in the middle of the ******** street?” Fingers fumbling Dimitri hastily began trying to get the shirt off his skin before any permanent burns could occur. The other man's voice sounded outraged but he was far too occupied to worry about some idiot's manners. “Dimitri?” Dimitri gripped the edges of his top shirt, finally deciding to pull it off as his name sounded out by the same rude person. “You still haven't sent me your rough draft yet, and you're here playing peeping Tom!?” Dimitri's glasses glinted as he finally got the hot shirt off, barely registering Keane's words before he threw the shirt in the male's face. “[color=#20859F][b]You just burned me and thats all you have to say?[/b][/color]” Dimitri's voice wasnt angry, in fact, it was the same monotonous tone he always used as he struggled to stand once more. His knee was throbbing from the fall though so it took a few attempts before he was finally upright. Grabbing his shirt back from Keane and rolling it so that the part with the coffee was hidden, the bespectacled male began to try and wipe what drops of the coffee had soaked through to his undershirt off before continuing. “[color=#20859F][b]Look Im having trouble with the paper, alright? Ill get it to you. Not like you've been grading them anyways.[/b][/color]” Considering how Keane often let things slip while he was tutoring Dimitri the male was fairly confident he had yet to get around to doing his job of grading the teacher's papers so the other wouldnt have to. Of course anyone else wouldve known better than to say something like that to a person who could very affect whether or not they passed or failed a class. But never having any teachers besides the few classes that werent online that he took in college he had yet to have the experience of needing to watch ones mouth around them. “[color=#20859F][b]And you owe me a new shirt.[/b][/color]” Unrolling the scrunched up fabric, Dimitri stared at the stains that would probably never come out before sighing and holding it out to the other male with a look that pointedly said 'now' as if he thought Keane would make another magically appear. “[color=#20859F][b]As well as an apology for trying to burn me.[/b][/color]” The seriousness on Dimitri's face could not be contested. “[color=#20859F][b]then yelling at me as if it was my fault[/b][/color]” [/color][/size] [/list][/list][/list][/list][/list][/list][/quote][/quote][/quote][/quote][/quote]
